95.9% graduation rate for district operated schools

70% of elementary schools are “A” or “B” rated

Palm Beach County has the highest percentage of A-rated schools compared to other large urban school districts in Florida

Added 110 police officers with at least one officer in every school

Funded over 650 school fine arts, choice, and career academy positions

MENTAL HEALTH

Behavioral health professional in every school - 100 agencies providing mental health services on our school campuses

Crisis Team (CAPE) to assist schools in real time when a student needs assistance

Added 30 school counselors and 40 school psychologists

WESTERN COMMUNITIES

Wellington Elementary School facility improvements

Wellington Landings Middle School facility and parking improvements

Set aside funding for a track at Wellington Landings Middle School

Joint partnership with the Village of Wellington for a sports complex at Wellington Community High School

Participates in monthly Educational Advisory Committee Meetings in Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, and Westlake

Led the charge to rebuild the new Pavilion at Loxahatchee Groves Elementary School

Leading the way to help improve safe driving and walking conditions for students and parents

Instrumental in establishing the new Educational Advisory Committee at Loxahatchee Groves Elementary School

Active supporter of Seminole Ridge High School Weitz Construction Academy and Royal Palm Beach High School HVAC Program in partnership with building Habitat for Humanity Homes

Broke ground in District 6 on a new Palm Beach County High School named 000 - the first in more than a decade

GLADES AREA

Participates in monthly meetings with the Glades Region Tri Cities Education Committee

Founder of the Glades Region Career Readiness Roundtable

Working with Pahokee Middle - Senior High School on facility improvements

No “D” or “F” schools in the Glades Area - first time ever

Worked with the school district to donate the Old Gove Elementary School site to the City of Belle Glade for workforce housing

West Technical Educational Center continues to expand offerings for vocational/technical students and adults, including medical science, CDL, mechatronics, HVAC, welding, plumbing, electrical, construction, etc.

Secured over $2 Million in State appropriations for West Technical Educational Center
